India is blessed to have rich and diverse biodiversity from north to south and from east to west. Especially Central India is well known for its’ diverse topography, climate and vegetation. The Central Indian states of Maharashtra (Vidarbha region), Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh are home to nearly 15 national parks and 35 wildlife sanctuaries. Lush forest, the hissing of the snake, birds chirping, and tigers prowling – watch the wild come alive amid their natural habitat at the national parks in Central India.

Kanha National Park, Bandavgarh National Park, Panna National Park, Pench National Park, Satpura National Park, Kanger Ghati National Park, Indravati National Park, Tadoba-Andhari Tiger Reserve, Umred-Karhandla Wildlife Sanctuary, Melghat Wildlife Sanctuary are a few of the many wildlife heavens. These wildlife parks and sanctuaries are truly a ‘heaven on earth’ for wildlife lovers with each having diverse flora and fauna, including some endangered species. These wildlife parks and sanctuaries are mostly mixed and in some cases dry deciduous forests with prominently Teak and Sal plantation. Due to favourable conditions, these national parks and wildlife sanctuaries host many migratory birds as well. Tiger – being at the top of the chain is present in considerable number in most of them and also being a favourite of tourists who make a beeline to have a glimpse of this majestic animal. Having a varied vegetative cover with many water bodies in and around these wildlife parks, they support a variety of animals like Spotted Deer, Sambar Deer, Barking Deer, Leopards, Wild Dogs, Indian Gaurs, Sloth Bears, Blue Bull, Four-Horned Antelope, Civets, Hyenas, Indian Pangolins, Porcupines etc along with many bird, reptile, fish and butterfly species. The Central India national parks are also special in a way that they have been part of successful conservation programs. Kanha National Park stands out the most being named the best national park in the country. Central Indian wildlife never fails to amaze you!

Note: Guests can enjoy their favourite wildlife safari trips across Central India throughout the year, except for the three months during the monsoon period when parks and sanctuaries are closed.
